Time

In response to the problem of having too many audience members Lance said the organizers “toyed with the idea of doing it twice a month.” Perhaps they could include more people by providing more time. They did not end up doing this because:

We knew we had struck a nerve somewhere,

and we were afraid lightning wouldn't strike twice.

So we toyed with the idea of doing it every--

like twice a month, and ultimately

shot it down

because we didn't want to distract from

what was making it special in the first place.

If we did it more often

it might get diluted

it might not be the same thing that it is.

The time allotted for Carapace each month is part of what makes Carapace special. Holding it more often would change the show.
