Meeting the organizers

Randy is glad that Carapace can run smoothly even when he and Joyce aren’t there. But Shannon indicated their presence has a role to play.

I miss their presence

at the place where people come and go,

Some people may come to the show not wanting to interact with anyone. But for those who might want a little interaction, shaking hands with the organizers could be a good entry into the community. There may be something to this as Carapace has been around long enough to have many “insiders.” New people who want to connect could be intimidated and could benefit from a warm welcome. My observation with the new set up is that those who want to tell a story, at least, interact with Randy and Joyce, since they sit at the table with the hat.
