Making the stage your own

At the September Carapace, Eleanor moved a chair into the center of the stage area and stood on it to tell her story. There is no elevated stage at Carapace. The thing that makes storytellers more visible is that they are standing while the audience is sitting. However, Eleanor is a child, and is not much taller than a standing adult. She altered the stage to make it work better for her.
