Connecting with my earlier memo on diversity, Eleanor said:

We are so pink!

There is a sprinkling of people of color, but

no, it is

definitely a white audience

most of the time,

which will shift

over time

I think

people come because someone invites them.

And so,

Theresa Davis,

for instance.

Theresa will bring

some of her friends.

Maybe they will get hooked

on the event

and bring some-

It’s not happening quickly.

But it’s different already

than the first years.

Benjamin also talked about bringing friends to Carapace. Perhaps if there is interest in increasing the diversity of the crowd at Carapace, this is a good way to do it. Bring a friend.
