Learning about others’ experiences

René enjoys hearing about life experiences that are different from her own:

it’s just kind of nice to

hear unfiltered,

I have a twenty-five year old son,

and so it’s really

fun for me

to hear

like

what dating,

or what kind of experiences

some of the folks have here.

The implication is that René’s son doesn’t tell her a lot about what dating is like for 25 year olds right now. But she is curious about it. And at Carapace, people volunteer that information.
